If Sean is New School's fearless leader Brad is the one who makes sure that he doesn't lead us off a cliff. Cool, collected and with a head full of smarts Brad is the quiet center of every storm that he throws himself into. After receiving his degree summa cum laude in Communication and Film/Video Production from the University of Memphis in 2003 Brad tossed himself headlong into directing ten consecutive feature films. His latest film, Daylight Fades has gone on to secure domestic and international distribution across a variety of digital platforms in 2012. Brad previously gained critical praise for his feature film, 'Act One,' which claimed "Best Narrative Feature, Hometown Award" in the 2005 Indie Memphis Film Fest.
Never one to shy away from a challenge Brad took the opportunity to open New School Media in 2008 with Sean T. Faust. At New School Brad has taken Sun Studio Sessions from concept to national syndication and is our go-to director for all New School productions. His technical mastery is only matched by his ability to inspire memorable performances from his cast. In addition to his film pedigree, Brad is also a veteran of commercial and corporate video in Memphis and has produced video for Jack Belz enterprises, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Danver's, Hilton, HomeWood Suites, ServiceMaster and many others.
But perhaps most important is Brad's unbridled love of film, specifically John Carpenter's macabre opus Halloween. After repeatedly watching the film at the tender age of eight, Brad immediately began creating his own short films and sketches. His knowledge of cinema history is deep and and he declares any trivia night without a film round to be totally bogus. When asked if he has any interests other than film Brad stared at me blankly and unironicly replied, "what do you mean?" What indeed.
